Above this level sit three cantilevered volumes: the main house and two studios. They’re connected by bridges, forming a kind of suspended village. The largest volume contains the living room and the master suite, while the other two are studios for working and lounging. Wide overhangs give the buildings a floating presence and open up long views into the landscape.
With spans reaching up to 12 meters, the project also aims to show what’s possible in Bali from an engineering perspective, and how architectural clarity and local expertise can come together to create these kinds of gestures.
